1. Installing

Log into your Jira instance
Click the Apps dropdown and choose Find new apps.

3. Configuring your app
Here are some tips for configuring the Backup Projects for Jira.app
First, navigate to API configuration from the left menu bar and follow the tips below:
Add an email address
For the Backup Projects for Jira to work effectively, you need to add an email address. Click on the API configuration button and enter your email address in the field. You must enter the email address that is associated to the API token you will generate below to add to your current Jira site that you want to work onAdd a valid email address (the one associated with your instance) in the email address field. If the email address and API token are valid, then the email address will be saved and the email address field will be greyed out.
Add an API token
Once you log in, quickly navigate to the API configuration and key in Generate an API token which is gotten from this using this link https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security/api-tokens
Navigate to the Settings page
As the administrator who installed the app, once you have successfully added your email address and API token, you can navigate to the settings page and click Copy and paste the token in the “Paste your API token” field. Your token status should turn to active.

Click on “Fix configuration”. This allows configures the app to configure the backup sequence and project data for you. Allowing , allowing scheduling and other functions to operate.
If these settings are already set up, then you do not need to do anything further and you can simply just click on .
You are all set! Proceed to the Schedule page and begin using the app
