This document shows how to use the bulk create users feature to bulk create Jira or JSM customer users and add them to a group or to multiple groups simultaneously.

Step 1

Navigate to the BulkOps Pro on your Jira instance and Click to Log in
Ensure that you have already added your API token and set your email address. If you have not, see the below documents respectively

Step 2

Navigate to the “Users” menu and click on bulk create users

Step 3

Click on the choose file button to select either a CSV or xlsx file which you want to upload

This file allows you to bulk-create users with a single group. Please note that this group must already exist before the users can be created and added to the group

This file allows you to bulk-create users and add them to multiple groups. The use of this ~> separator within the group column is required for multiple group addition

Step 4

Click the Create users in bulk button to proceed

Take note of the file formats if you are using this feature to bulk create users and add them to group(s) simultaneously.

The file format supplied should be 3 columns if you want the created users added to a specific group(s). It is important to make sure that those group or groups already exist within your Jira instance
