Logged in showing as another account of mine
One Jira account with two different instances, logged in on one and accessed the other instance but it is still showing my user from the first instance instead of the current instance.
The BulkOps Pro uses cookies to securely identify a user within the system. In some cases, there might be a Jira administrator that has access to two different instances of Jira and may have installed the app on both instances while using on their browser. If they log in on one without logging out and access the other instance, it will appear as though you are logged in from the first instance. This is possible for the below reason
Since we use cookies to identify a user session, if that session isn’t expire or haven’t logged out, the app simply will log in with that session without clearing that session since the sessions only clear when the browser is closed to allow for a continuous flow of seamless login. This means that it may appear that if you want to access a different instance on the same browser, you will be see your previous session from another instance.
The only way to rectify this is to simply log out of such a session and log in again with the right session, this will be done automatically on the current Jira instance that you are on after a log out has been initiated.
You can identify which instance you are on by checking the Settings link on the BulkOps Pro to see the name of the instance if it tallies with the instance of Jira you’re currently on. If this is the case of not the right instance, simply log out refresh your screen and log in again to the correct instance.
Alternatively, if you own two Jira instances, you can use a separate browser to log in to the second instance to avoid this issue. Therefore, you can use a single browser for one instance of Jira at a time.
