How to delete multiple projects

This document shows you how to bulk delete multiple projects in Jira

Step 1

  • Navigate to the BulkOps Pro on your Jira instance and Click to Log in

  • Ensure that you have already added your API token and set your email address. If you have not, see the below documents respectively

Step 2

  • Navigate to projects on your overhead menu and select “delete projects”

Step 3

  • Type on the form the project keys separated by a comma. You can also select whether to delete the project to trash (which can be recovered later) or immediately

Step 4

  • On the dialogue screen, click “Yes” to confirm the deletion process

Note

  • The delete projects can delete the project into Jira’s trash folder by you choosing the options “choose to enable undo delete”. By default it is set to “yes” which means, if you delete the project it will move to the trash folder of Jira. This allows the project to be recovered if incase the deletion was a mistake.
