How to bulk delete users

This document show case how to delete users using the BulkOps Pro for Jira

Step 1

  • Navigate to the BulkOps Pro on your Jira instance and Click to Log in

  • Ensure that you have already added your API token and set your email address. If you have not, see the below documents respectively

Step 2

  • Click on the “Users” menu option and select bulk delete users

Step 3

  • Select your CSV or xlsx file by clicking the “choose file” button

The delimiter is referring to the separator used in the file. For example in a CSV file the separator is usually a comma. In such a situation, you do not need to set a delimiter as the default is a comma. If the file you’re uploading uses a different delimiter, please use the options provided in the select list.

Step 4

  • Once you have completed the above steps, click on the red button to start the bulk delete process.

  • Each task that is submitted, triggers a job on the background that processes the task instructed. You will see a progress bar on the screen, indicating the status of the task at hand.

  • You can use this feature to bulk delete Jira users or Jira Service Management customers

    • To delete JSM customer, please ensure that you have a JSM application available on your site
